Columbia River Waterfalls/Twin Tunnel Ride/Oregon Coast

 June 14-23, 2017

We traveled from our home in Lewiston, ID to The Dalles, OR and stayed the night at an Air BnB. We rode our bikes through the Twin Tunnels one day and then spent the next day checking out the waterfalls. Exit the main highway to US 30 (the Historic Columbia River Highway) to access waterfalls, hiking, and picnic areas.

We traveled to Seaside in NE Oregon to see the Sandcastle Building contest at Cannon Beach. Heading North, we went to Astoria, toured a fort, stopped at Aberdeen, and took a quick loop around the Olympic National Forest before returning home.

We decided we would like to return to the Olympic National Forest when we could camp for a few days and spend more time exploring Highway 101 along the entire Oregon Coast.
